On a chilly Sunday the family gathered for family photos!
The boys are getting ready to ALL be big brothers!
They are expecting a new bundle of joy to come next year!
Congratulations Tindell Family!
Family and friends gathered on November 13th, 2016.
To await the birth of Caroline, Jess and Nabil's daughter!
The ladies wrote letters to Caroline to read on her 18th birthday.
They also made beautiful headbands for Caroline to wear!
They left messages on diapers...
And smelt, ate, and thoroughly inspected diapers to discover what chocolate bar had been left behind!
The two opened presents... Overcome with emotion and excitement!
But the most beautiful thing, was the smiles and love radiating from every being.
Congratulations, Nabil and Jess!
Two souls will come together as one in October 2017...
First meeting in high school their lives crossed paths but their lives went down two separate roads....
They reconnected over the internet and began forming the start of lifetime together...
Falling deeply in love, Jim proposed to Kelsie in February of 2016...
They now will walk hand in hand facing their new life as one...
Congratulations and Best Wishes!
Many people don't realize that many vendors at your wedding are either expecting a tip or would greatly appreciate one! Below is a guide I have created about tipping compiled from a plethora of resources. Please keep in mind this is completely your choice and go along with your own rules! Also designate a person at your wedding that has labeled envelops with tip money that they can distribute it and you don't have to worry about it on your wedding day!
Wedding planners will appreciate a tip. While this isn't considering "mandatory" wedding planners often go above and beyond (what you have paid) for each client and this is a great way to thank them for making your day special. Offering a 10%-20% tip or sending them a gift is a wonderful way to say thank you.
If your officiant is of a religious faith, they typically will not accept a tip. However whatever you would have tipped, give as a donation to the place of worship to say thank you. An average tip to a religious place of worship is $100 on average.
If your officiant is a hired professional, judge, etc, they will accept a tip and are tipped around $50 on average.
Hair and Make-up!
Just as you would tip on a typical hair cut, you would do the same for a hair and make up artist. A tip of 15%-20% is expected.
Food and Drinks!
Catering Staff & Chef's
If your catering contract doesn't already include gratuity (some will and some won't), it is expected that you tip 15% to 20% of the bill, like a regular bill at a restaurant. Another alternative is to give each chef/server individual tips. Typically the Chef's should get 20%-40% more than servers.
If you have a cash bar, they should receive tips all night from your guests and yourself if you are having drinks as well.
If you have do not have a cash bar and your guests were not tipping, you should tip the bartenders 10-15% of the bar bill.
Ceremony and Reception Staff!
This could be the set-up/break-down crew, delivery staff, etc. Tips are not required for this area however, if they have done a great job and you enjoyed the help a tip of $20-$50 each is recommended.
Band or DJ!
These are the people that keep the party alive! Tipping is also optional but consider tipping a 10%-15% tip for your DJ, and for a band consider around $20-$50 per band member.
Photographer and Videographer!
Tipping is optional for your photographer or videographer, however is recommended if you believe they did a phenomenal job. If you do decide to tip there is a wide range of recommended tips ranging from $50-$200. Some people do not prefer to tip before they see the final photos and video. If this is the case then mailing a tip is accepted as well.
Sometimes there is gratuity included in the drivers fee. If it is not a 15% tip is optional.
Typically, florist do not expect a tip. If they do an amazing job then of course giving a 10%-15% tip is always welcome.
Of course these are guidelines, if you do not tip, or want to tip more than recommended that is always okay. Judge the tip on how exceptional the service is. Sometimes vendors will go above and beyond and remember everyone is there to make your day special!
